Whale Defense Force!

Whale Defense Force! is a project I helped conceptualize and create during Global Game Jam 2017. It prototypes the journey and abilities of the Whale Defense Force, a group of mercenaries on a quest to save the whales.

Samsara

Samsara is a project I worked on as a member of Sparkade Games. It portrays the journey of a Buddhist monk as he overcomes his human existance in an attempt to transcend Samsara.

Romaji to Kana

Romaji to Kana is a website for understanding the Japanese script by translating Roman characters to their Hiragana and Katakana counterparts.

Fimbulwinter
August 2015 - May 2016


Fimbulwinter is a game I helped create during my fourth year at Dakota State University. In it, a group of people must work together to survive the devastating nuclear winter.

The Historic Terrace
June 2015 - September 2015


I designed this website for The Historic Terrace Theatre, a non-profit organization that was

working to restore the Terrace Theatre in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.

The Heap
September 2014 - May 2015


The Heap is a game I helped create during my third year at Dakota

State University. Here, the robot LAARP embarks on a quest to escape the Heap and become a true video game mascot.

Ego Boost
January 2014


Ego Boost is a game I helped create for 2014's Global Game Jam. In the game, the player plays as an egotistical maniac, defeating remnants of himself in his mind.

Life: The Platformer

Life: The Platformer is a game I helped develop during my second year at Dakota State University. The game was originally going to be a progression from birth to death, but was greatly reduced due to scope.

Olympus
November - December 2013


Olympus is a game I helped

develop during my second year at Dakota State University. Here, the player receives the powers of the Greek gods in order to protect Mt. Olympus.

Bunny Death Squad
March 2013


Bunny Death Squad is a board game I helped develop during my first year at Dakota State University. The players controlled warrior bunnies in an attempt to survive the zombie apocalypse.

Within a Heartbeat
January 2013


Within a Heartbeat is the first game I ever helped create. Created for 2013's Global Game Jam, this game explored a city frozen in time as it lay on the brink of destruction.

Backstab
January 2018


Backstab is a game I helped develop for the 2018 Global Game Jam. In it, the player controls a sentient sword as it tries to get its bearer killed.

Gravitas
February 2018


Gravitas is a game for which I was contacted to develop art assets. In the game, the player inspects incoming space ships in order to protect the station in which they work.
